As we all know that WhatsApp is very widely used chatting application as it available free on Android, iOS as well as on PC, it makes it publicly available to download and use for free. Due to its best is class features and seamless experience of using application it has become one of the most widely used application in the world. Also good thing about WhatsApp is that it supports multiple languages, so if you feel like chatting in our regional language, then there is high chance that WhatsApp will support that language.
Why to write messages / text in different languages?
As we know that most people prefer using English language to write text messages, that is why most of the message forwards which we receive are in English language, but there are also some large number of people who prefer to chat in their regional language. There can be many reasons why they prefer messaging in their regional language, mostly because they love their language so much that they use their regional language for chatting purpose, there can be also a reason that they are very comfortable to chat in their regional language. Some people might find typing in English difficult so that is why they might be chatting in their regional language. There can be various reason for the same, and due to this Google Translate is very very important and effective. Problem starts to occur when the person whom you are trying to send message does not understand language in which you want to type message. In this case you must send him/her message in the language he understands, so in order to do this follow steps given below.
How to Write messages / texts in different languages?
In order to translate text into a different language as you type, you will first need to download and install Gboard application on your smartphone device and set it up as your default keyboard. Now after you have downloaded and installed Gboard application successfully and set it as your default keyboard, just follow steps below to translate text into a different language as you type.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp and open chat whom you want to send message in different language. Click on type and message, Gboard (keyboard) will open, there you can see google translate icon as shown in fig below. Click on it.
Step 2: After clicking on google translate icon, you will be able to see 2 language names as shown in figure below A and B. At A you can mention name of language in which you want to type and at B you can mention name of language in which you want text to get translated to. In below figure I have taken A as English that is the language in which I want to write text and B I have taken as Marathi, that is language in which I need text get translated to.
Step 3: Then you just need to type text message in your preferred language and it will get automatically translated as you type and you can see translated message in above text field, you can just click send after you are done typing message.
Congratulations, we have successfully translated text in real-time. As you can see in given example we have successfully translated text from English to Marathi in real-time. Similarly you can also translate text from whichever language you want (available on gbaord).
